Tranum Fosdal-Hærvejens Perler

Along the way, you will pass Bavnehøj – the highest point of Jammerbugten (83 meters above sea level) – and continue down into the deep, green Fosdal near Our Lady's Spring, where people have sought healing since the Middle Ages. You can read more about it here. The route goes through the valley's lush deciduous forest with birdsong, babbling brooks, and a rich flora with rare species. The return trip follows the upper edge of Lien, where you can enjoy magnificent sea views before reaching the narrow, peaceful valley of Langdalen.

It's a hike for both body and senses – rewarded with varied nature, views, and tranquility.

The route is certified as a Premium Hiking Trail by the Deutsches Wanderinstitut and is marked with blue-green symbols. Five signposted shortcuts make it possible to shorten the journey.
