Rebild Bakker Ruten-Hærvejens Perler
The route takes you through the ancient beech forests of Rold Skov, where the twisted trees of the Troll Forest create an almost magical atmosphere. You will also pass by the wind-swept beech trees in Rebild Hills and continue to Ravnkilde – a natural spring where you can refill your bottle with the purest spring water. Along the way, you will encounter the crystal-clear spring brooks Ravnkilde and Kovadsbæk, whose green underwater plants and bubbling water add a special tranquility to the journey. You will also pass the old house where the poacher Lars Kjær and the fortune teller Marie lived, before reaching Høje Odde – an observation tower with a breathtaking panorama over the rolling landscape.

Selected experiences
The Lookout Tower - Høje Odde
The Forest Tower, Høje Odde, is located in the Troll Forest in Rebild Hills and offers an impressive view over Stendalen and all the way to Top Karen's House. The 10-meter-high tower is storm-proof and therefore moves slightly in the wind – a completely natural part of the construction. The tower was erected in 1970 and stands firmly on a concrete foundation in the hilly nature. From the tower, you can enjoy the impressive view over the expanses of Rebild. Read more here
Museum Rebild
Museum Rebild is situated at the entrance to Rebild Hills and vividly tells stories about life in and around Denmark's largest forest. Here you can experience everything from Viking treasures and emigration to America to poachers, old crafts, and traditional folk music. The museum includes both permanent exhibitions and activities where you can participate. Music and dance are part of the experience – just like the nature outside the door. An ideal stop on your journey through the hilly landscapes of the Hærvej Pearl. Every Sunday afternoon, there is music and folk dancing for everyone. Museum Rebild has a small café. Hunger and thirst can also be satisfied at Rebildhus, in Top Karens Hus, at Comwell or at Rold Storkro. Read more about Museum Rebild here
